I studied Tourism for two years while I was at secondary school at Ipswich Girls’ Grammar. I then went on to TAFE at Southbank to get my Certificate 3 in Tourism. While looking for work in the travel industry I was lucky to find a job close to home where I have been for the past four years.

Since I have been at Nolans Travelworld I have travelled quite a bit but not as much as I would like to. I have been to New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Vanuatu, Fiji, Bali, Malaysia, the Whitsundays, the Northern Territory and I have also done a cruise of the South Pacific visiting Noumea, Isle of Pines, Mystery Island and Port Vila. I have most recently come back from visiting the Tropical North starting in Mackay through to Townsville, Cairns, Port Douglas, Cook Islands and Canada with Scenic Tours.

In 2008 I travelled the North Island of New Zealand with Kirra Tours, Central Australia with APT and recently have returned from my Top Achievers Trip to Los Angeles and Disneyland with Qantas Holidays.

At the beginning of 2009 I travelled to the South Island of New Zealand and on a Queensland Island Cruise on the Pacific Sun from Brisbane. My next trip away will be my honeymoon in November to Thailand for 10 wonderful days in Phuket.

I began my retail travel career in 1990 as a trainee. After working in most areas of the travel industry, I enjoy the challenge and pleasure of being a retail travel consultant. There is no better feeling than that of a fully satisfied client. My experience in travel is very broad I have worked in Wholesale, Sales, Retail, and also the Airline Industry.

My personal experiences include many destinations. Europe, New Zealand, Thailand, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, America, Vanuatu, Bali just to name a few. I have lived and travelled extensively through out America.

Some of my most memorable experiences include Travelling to Italy and standing about 2 meters away from the Pope himself, after an Easter speech, wandering around in New York City at the Whiz!! beside Eddie Murphy, lying by the pool in Maui in full view of Janet Jackson. The thrill of being somewhere foreign and then travelling home with an experience of a life time. I would love to hear about all of your travel experiences.

I have only just joined the Nolan's Travelworld Team at Ipswich. With me I bring some unbeatable memories and a wealth of experience. During my career I have travelled throughout Europe, Asia, the South Pacific and best of all many destinations throughout Australia. I particularly enjoy cruising and rail travel.

Recently travelling on the Ghan from Adelaide to Darwin and cruising on the Pacific Star to Auckland. I am looking forward to revisiting Europe in the near future and assisting you with your travel arrangements.
