Travelworld Ceduna Celebrates 12 months in our new store!

Travelworld staff have been enjoying our new premises since 25th of September, 2010.  We have had many wonderful comments from the public how our store looks sooooo good, which we are very proud of.

In June we held a Information Evening with APT featuring Canada/Alaska and European River Cruising.  The evening was a great success with 19 people attending to watch a DVD on our new flat screen TV and hear from Jennifer Page from APT.

Since the information evening we have been able to put a group departure together of 11 passengers to Canada/Alaska in May 2012.  As manager I am absolutely thrilled to have put together my first group of this size.

There will soon be some staff changes at Travelworld Ceduna as Alana Collins finishes later this year to go on maternity leave and we welcome Megan Coleman to our team.  Megan will be starting in September from an accounting background.  Elle Freeman is a Domestic Travel Consultant along with myself as an International and Domestic Consultant.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the past 12 months and also prior to this, we are now looking forward to 2012.

Tullie Seneca

I am the Owner/Manager of Travelworld Ceduna.  My parents bought the travel agency in 1997 and employed me as the manager, after I had completed a travel course and 21 months work in the travel industry at Ceduna Travel Centre.  I immediately franchised the business and it took on the new look and name of Traveland Ceduna.

In 2001 my husband Don and I purchased a 50% share in the business, later that year Traveland, Ansett & Kendell collapsed in the same week as September 11. The world of travel changed drastically and some tough times lay ahead for the agency.

In 2002 we refranchised with Travelworld and Rex purchased what was left of Kendell Airlines and we moved forward again.

Although there have been many challenges since such as SARS and the Bali bombings the industry is one that it is always changing and diversifiying, this is one of the things I love about the industry.

This job is all about the people, meeting new people, assisting them with their travel arrangements and ensuring they have the most enjoyable experience possible.

I moved to Ceduna from Adelaide with my partner at the beginning of 2011. I am originally from a small coastal community called Port Neill which is on the Eyre Peninsula. My partner and I are enjoying the awesome the coastline and friendly community within Ceduna.

I joined the team at Travelworld Ceduna as a travel consultant at the beginning of April. Working as a travel consultant I enjoy meeting and working with the local community. As a travel consultant I can assist you with all of local and interstate travel requirements and can advise you on holiday destinations within Australia.

I am passionate about travelling interstate and abroad. I have recently travelled to Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. One of my favourite travel destinations within Queensland is Rainbow Beach with its steep sand hills and rainbow coloured sands. I am looking forward to travelling overseas to Europe and Asia in near the future.
