Travelworld Carindale was established in 1992 in Westfield Carindale Shopping Centre in Brisbane. From humble beginnings, a combination of dedicated customer service and progressive thought has seen the organisation grow to be one of the leading travel centres in Queensland!

Our team is made up of a group of highly experienced professionals who can assist you with any travel requirement, and are always available should the need arise.

We have also developed a great relationship with many travel wholesalers and suppliers and frequently are recognised within the industry with sales achievement awards.

We are a licensed travel agent LIC No. TAG1860 and our ABN is 40722100759 and we are a participant in the Travel Compensation Fund (TCF).

We are also a member of the International Cruise Council Australiasia (ICCA) and part of the 'invitation only' P&O Partnership Program & CruiseCo Consortium.

Fabio Caruso

Travel Centre Manager

 

Fabio's family has been in the travel industry for over 60 years with his father opening up one of Brisbane's first agencies in the 1950's, and is now still operating successfully at Westfield Carindale

Fabio has enjoyed varying roles in the industry starting out in retail as a Travel Consultant and eventually working his way up to a management position for a large European Airline Group. His love of travel has taken him throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas, as well as his latest passion - cruising! He has now decided to pass on all the knowledge and experience he has gained to anyone with the 'travel-bug', so they too can experience the joys and diverse cultures the World has to offer.

As a result, he has brought together a hand-picked group of Travel Specialists all under one roof, and looks forward to welcoming you to Queensland's Premier Travel Centre.

Tracey Sullivan

Senior International Travel Specialist

 

Tracey has over 21 years travel experience, 11 of those at Travelworld Carindale! She has travelled the world, and her wealth of knowledge is the difference between a good holiday and the best holiday you have ever had.

Tracey has built up a large clientele over the years due to her wealth of knowledge and professional, mature approach to clients. She specialises in family getaways (having travelled with her own tribe), Canada & Alaska, Japan and is a Cruise Master. Tracey was also nominated as the Queensland Travelworld 'Consultant of the Year' 2 years running 2008/2009 & 2009/2010.

Sherry Straatman

International Travel Specialist

 

Sherry prides herself on providing a 'seamless, one-stop travel service' for clients whilst ensuring the highest level of customer service at all times.

Sherry has over 4 years travel experience and has travelled extensively throughout the Pacific, Europe, Africa and has also set sail on quite a few cruises.

However, Sherry's real area of expertise is Canada and the USA, having lived and worked there prior to becoming a Travel Specialist.

Sherry is the consumate professional and will take great pride in organising your next getaway.

Peter Lucas

Peter has a wealth of destinational knowledge which he has accumulated throughout his 30 years in travel.

His claim to fame is having visited EVERY Continent on Earth and has been to the USA so many times... the 'paparazzi' know him by name. 

Peter's overall favourite destinations include Cuba, Mexico and pretty much all of South America.

From great local restaurants, boutique hotels to fantastic shopping tips, Peter will go out of his way to ensure your next trip is a memorable one.

Maria Maruca

Italy Travel Specialist & Trade Advisor

 

Maria has over 20 years International travel experience and specialises soley on Italy through her own company - Italpoint.  Italpoint promotes Tourism & Trade opportunities between Australia and Italy as well as organising special interest seminars and conferences between the two countries.

Maria frequently visits Italy on 'Trade Missions', and can assist you or your company in taking a group away to the most spectacular country in the World, whether it be a brief visit, social group or something more 'off the beaten track'.  For leisure trips, Maria can assist in itinerary planning for a small fee which is guaranteed to save you $$$

Annette has over 30 years travel experience having worked in all areas of the industry including major airlines, wholesale and insurance which has given her an excellent avenue to hone her customer service skills.

During that time she had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the Asia Pacific region, UK, Europe and is an avid cruiser of the high seas as well as river cruising. Annette also has in-depth knowledge of North America (including Alaska), Africa and the Middle East.
